Our doctors use advanced technology to make your treatments precise, efficient and comfortable. Below are descriptions of the advanced technology we use to ensure high-quality, stable results.
Digital Panoramic X-Rays
Digital panoramic X-ray images create a comprehensive view of your entire mouth, clearly displaying your teeth, bone levels in your jaw and sinuses. They are a vital diagnostic tool for determining the overall state of your oral health, as they reveal elements of your anatomy that are not visible in limited-field X-rays.
In-Office Digital Design and Milling System for Dental Restorations
Using our in-office laboratory’s computerized dental milling system, our doctors digitally design and fabricate your temporary and permanent restorations on-site. This gives our doctors the highest level of quality control, ensuring a final product that meets their exact specifications. On-site milling also can be completed in as little as one day, making treatment time much faster.
Digital Impression Scanner
Our doctors use a digital intraoral scanner to take 3D impressions of your teeth, gumline and jaw. The scanned images are more precise than traditional goopy impressions. Scanned impressions are also more comfortable for patients.
Our digital X-ray machines emit 80 percent less radiation than conventional X-ray devices. They produce highly detailed images that are available in seconds. Digital X-rays are clearer than conventional film X-rays and can be magnified for close inspection of tiny areas.
With our digital camera, the doctors take external photos of your face, teeth and smile. The photos are used for the diagnosis and planning of cosmetic smile makeovers and other treatments.
Cosmetic Imaging Software
Our doctors use advanced cosmetic imaging software to give you a preview of how your smile will look after your cosmetic procedure is completed. The smile images can be modified as needed, to conform to your exact desires. Cosmetic imaging allows you and the doctor to easily verify your desired result before starting treatment.
We use ultrasonic scalers to gently and efficiently remove the accumulated bacterial plaque and calculus (hardened plaque) from your teeth. Ultrasonic scalers use high-frequency vibrations to break up the bacterial deposits, while simultaneously killing disease-causing bacteria. These devices clean deeper and faster than traditional scaling instruments. They are also gentler on the teeth and can be adjusted for comfort.
Jet Spray Tooth Polishing System
We use a dental jet spray cleaning instrument for the final cleaning and polishing of your teeth. The device shoots a high-pressure sodium bicarbonate (baking soda) stream that removes stains and other hard-to-remove materials from your teeth. It also cleans in the tiny crevices that no other instruments can access.
